Birth & Postpartum
Grounded, intuitive care for birth and beyond
Birth is a rite of passage, a threshold, a moment where everything shifts. Whether you’re preparing for your first birth, seeking a different experience this time, or navigating the delicate postpartum period, you deserve deeply attuned support that honours your body, intuition, and personal choices.
I offer a blend of practical guidance and emotional support to help you and your growing family feel safe, informed, and deeply held during this transformation.

Wherever & However You Choose to Birth
Regardless of who you are, how you identify, or how you choose to birth your baby into the world, my care is centered on respect, empowerment, and your autonomy.
Through my midwifery apprenticeship in Mexico, I have witnessed birth in all its forms—from undisturbed home births to hospital transfers in remote areas, and everything in between. This experience has deepened my understanding of birth as a physiological, emotional, and spiritual process.
While I do not provide midwifery care in Canada, my doula support is rooted in a deep respect for birth in its many variations.
I provide unwavering birth support that includes:
Grounded, continuous presence throughout your labour and birth, ensuring you feel safe, heard, and empowered.
Hands-on comfort techniques, including massage, rebozo work, counterpressure, and guidance on movement, positions, and breath.
Intuitive, responsive support tailored to your emotions, physical needs, and birthing preferences.
Advocacy in birth spaces, ensuring your voice is heard, your choices are honoured, and your body is respected.
A deep understanding of physiological birth, helping to ensure interventions are only used when truly needed.
A calming, reassuring presence to help you navigate intensity with trust and confidence.

The first 40 days after birth shape the foundation of your transition into parenthood. I provide in-home care that nourishes your body, supports your emotions, and helps you feel grounded in this new chapter. I also offer meal preparation porch drop-offs, or private chef services in your home.
Nourishing food & herbal support tailored to postpartum recovery, including teas and warming meals to support healing.
Birth debriefing & emotional care, providing space to process your birth experience, metabolize emotions, and integrate this transformation.
Gentle infant care guidance, including support with feeding, newborn sleep rhythms, and bonding—because breastfeeding isn’t always easy, and it takes time to learn.
Ayurvedic wisdom teaches that how you are cared for in your first 40 days postpartum sets the foundation for your motherhood journey. Let’s ensure you feel supported, nourished, and held.

I don’t believe in rigid birth plans.
Instead, I help you build a values-based framework that allows you to move through birth and postpartum with clarity, confidence, and adaptability. Whether or not I am present at your birth, this preparation is available to help you feel equipped for what lies ahead. These planning sessions are included in my doula support packages as prenatal visits, but can be arranged even if I will not be attending your birth in-person.
These sessions include:
Interactive exercises to explore your fears, hopes, and needs for support.
Tools and practices to regulate your nervous system and stay grounded, no matter what unfolds.
Discussion of postpartum rhythms, relationship shifts, and community support to help you prepare holistically.
Two in-depth, 50-page workbooks filled with information, guided discussion questions, and self-reflection journal prompts—one for pregnancy and birth, and the other for postpartum life.

My work is informed by a blend of traditional knowledge, academic study, and hands-on experience. My background includes:
Apprenticeship in midwifery in Mexico, where I witnessed and supported birth in many settings.
Extensive experience and formal training as a doula, providing support in hospitals, homes, and birth centers.
Academic foundation in Gender & Women’s Studies, giving me a deep understanding of how birth and reproductive care intersect with societal structures and personal identity.
Certified yoga training, with a focus on perinatal yoga, integrating movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to support the body through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery.
A commitment to lifelong learning, continually expanding my knowledge in birthwork, postpartum care, and reproductive health.

Bridging Head & Heart Knowledge
Birth is both science and spirit, intuition and information. My approach weaves together evidence-based knowledge with deep, intuitive wisdom; honoring the balance of heart and head in the birth space.
I take on a limited number of birth and postpartum clients each month in order to provide highly specialized, deeply grounded care. It is never too early (or too late) to get in touch—no question is too big or too small. You deserve care that is rooted in reverence, respect, and the unwavering belief in your power.
Soul sisters
Girlhood is a metamorphosis. It is a truly unique period of self-discovery, transformation, and deep questioning. Yet too often, girls are left to navigate the plethora of body changes, self-doubt, and emotional overwhelm that come with this journey all alone.
Soul Sisters was created to change that by fostering safe spaces for girls to explore who they are with guidance and intention, rather than fear and shame. Through mentorship, cycle-awareness education, and authentic intergenerational sisterhood, Soul Sisters helps them build confidence, deepen self-trust, and feel truly supported as they step into their power.
From more in-person retreats in Mexico to expanded digital workshops and our soon-to-be relaunched Soulful Summer Camp, Soul Sisters is evolving into an even more transformative experience.
No girl should have to navigate this journey alone— we create the future.

SoulFul movement™
My journey into movement began long before I ever called it a practice. Yoga was part of my life from childhood as the result of my Indian mother’s own practice. But it wasn’t until I started studying anatomy and physiology in depth that I truly became in awe of the intelligence of the body. At the ripe age of 18, while working at the front desk of a yoga studio, I was gifted a prenatal yoga training. I didn’t know it at the time, but that offering would change the entire course of my life. Learning about the physiology of birth opened a door I would never close, and for over a decade, I have continued to explore the ways mindful movement supports the body's natural rhythms—through pregnancy, postpartum, menstrual cycles, and beyond.
Soulful Movement™ is the result of that journey. With over 1000 hours of yoga teacher training, including studies through Yoga Medicine and traditional training in India, I specialize in movement practices that support both the emotional and physical well-being of women. My work focuses on functional movement, nervous system healing, perinatal wellness, and somatics, helping women feel at home in their bodies through all of life’s transitions. I want you to always remember that your body is not broken, it is wise. Healing isn’t about forcing, but about listening. And movement, when done with intention, can be a way back to trust.
I’m currently taking a short break from my regular classes at Kula to focus on healing my own body, but my teaching schedule will be back soon. In the meantime, I’m still offering private prenatal and postpartum movement sessions for those looking for personalized support.
If you’re interested in private sessions or small group classes, reach out—I’d love to connect.
